I use just the basic over the counter allergy medicine. (Kestox is the product here) It costs about 15€/100 tabs, so much cheaper than DAO suplements.

I used to have mediocre IBS symptoms. Never to the point of being debilitating, but such that I was always aware where the closest toilet was and got anxious if it was too far away.
There was an article about studies being done on using common antihistamin to treat IBS that helped in many cases. Tried it and never looked back. That pretty much solved my bowel ussues.
I simply started playing less. At first I felt sad and angry, recalling my previous gaming years, but once I started to accept the fact that I was growing up and life changes, the sadness passed. Nowadays I rarely can sit on the PC to play for more than an hour every couple of days. But it’s fine. There really are not that many good games that are “must” play and there is no rush to finnish them.No stress about the back log. Also saves money on games, when you can just wait for the sales.
I do still play games on my phone, when I discover some what worthy games to scratch the itches.
I know some one in their 50s who is in an arranged marriage. They are happy as far as I know and did infact fall in love. They are from Kashmir. The way he told it to me, it was very similar to friends setting you up with some one, except it was the parents who did it. No forcing and no personal gain for the parents. Just people who know you trying to find a good match for you with their contacts.
My math teacher, when I said I did not know how to do the home work: “Well, just do more math!”
How do you expect me to do more math, when I do not know how?
On hindsight, he was right… I should have re-done quite a bit of the math courses, properly, so that I would have had the basis to advance. At that moment, he did not have the time to help me, since he knew I had been left too far behind to quickly catch up. It just felt so stupid to teen age me. I ended up dropping out of the higher math courses and just did the basic ones. Ended up with great scores for the basic maths, with a far better mental health. I had been strugling with math for so long.
I take on pill every morning and don’t really think about what I eat. :)
