The “election cycle”

The long election cycle exists to purposefully reinforce the bipartisan duopoly by forcing candidates to campaign for 6+ months which is way too expensive for anyone that isn’t funded by billionaires. “Campaigning” shouldn’t take multiple months we all have tv and phones it doesn’t take long to tell us what you stand for and for us to make up our minds about that.
