yeah, I read the article and I’m looking forward to reading the book in a week when it comes out. I guess the article makes some decent points but I find it so reductive and simplistic to boil it down to “why are you even making these arguments because we have climate change todeal with now.” It didn’t seem like a cohesive argument against the book, but I will know more in a week or two.

Wishful thinking

there will be no saviors. Anyone who has any ability to move the needle at all is happy to not stick their head up because they are too worried about their money/power. unbridled Monopolistic capitalism has won in America. If you don’t like it get the fuck out, it’s only gonna get a lot worse.

I like the article, but it seemed like the point of the article was basically like,

“yo fascists, ease up off the neck of your wage slavers so that they can wage slave harder without feeling distress.” additionally,“if you grind them so hard, that’s ultimately inefficient for your capitalistic needs.”

I used to think he wasn’t a complete douch, but then he started to hang with king douch Ryan Reynolds… So the name change is fitting for a total douch.

it’s the best game I ever played. I waited years to play it and I played it two years ago, on pc. Amazing. Outrageously good. when I finished playing it, I deleted it off my computer and I set up a block on Reddit before I left Reddit permanently, so that I don’t see any mention of it. I just wanted to forget that I never played it and forget the story so that I could have that feeling of playing it for first time. I think in a year maybe two I’ll be ready to play it again. I can’t wait to forget more about it, so I can experience it again.

it’s just his PR machine trying to give him some distance between him and the administration don’t fall for it. It’s a well orchestrated campaign to soften the public perception of him.
