  • The way things are looking with multiple challenges to the 2024 election one in rockland county NY and another in PA (maybe there are others but im unsure atm) and so many statistical anomalies/ impossibilities it really looks as if America did not vote for trump. Star link had been connected to tabulator machines. Ive personally believed the us election system Especially the presidential election has been rigged since Reagan maybe even back to JFK with his family connections to the mafia back when his dad was a bootlegger. So I feel trump was telling a half truth in 2020 who knows if the rigging actually affected the results in comparison to voter turnout in that election but since it wasn’t rigged in trump’s favor he threw a massive hissy ass bitch fit because to trump it definitely doesn’t matter if it was rigged but only that it was not rigged to his benefit. But i think the wealthiest in our society get together and choose who they want to serve as their puppet but this year instead of participating Space Karen just went rogue and spent as much as possible to swing it in his favor. We have to look at this objectively. Our society has always been somewhat fascist but ever since lbj declined the party nomination in ‘68 and then Bobby Kennedy was assassinated after winning the California democratic primary the democratic party has consistently shifted to the right every election since. C Its the reality that the same financial interests are funding both the Dnc and the Rnc and since bush jr the usa has become extremely more Fascist. All of the 14 traits of fascism are obviously ingrained parts of our society but fraudulent elections is the only one that has plausible deniability.

But it is a fact that every aspect of our political system is up for sale and this was set into motion when Nixon nominated Lewis F Powell to the supreme court which paved the way for citizens united. Now we have legalized bribery, a foreign interest is dictating terms and may even be using Kompromat farming/honeypotting to maintain this control. So imo it is naive to think that this small group of ultra wealthy people who consider the rest of us to be vermin/ useless eaters feel as though they have been imbued with a divine provenance to manipulate our sociopolitical and economic systems to serve themselves at our expense, would for some reason consider the election processes of our government to be too sacred for them to touch. It’s Obvious that these people have no reservations about doing whatever it takes, whenever they can to get their way whatever it may be,

  • I will probably get downvoted for this but whatever. The idea that everyone has the same tolerance point to alcohol and once you pass the certain BAC threshold your driving is automatically impaired is not a realistic view. The state just has an interest in inconveniencing drivers with laws to increase revenue for the state. For instance Drugged driving laws are pretty dumb, i can undersrand drugs like alcohol, even benzodiazepines and things like GHB, or other disassociatives. But everyone has a different brain chemistry and a different response. Someone who’s been drinking every day and is an alcoholic yeah they are killing themselves for sure, personally i hate alochol, I probably drink maybe 4 to 6 times a year sometimes even just once or twice at holidays. I hate the way it makes my body feel afterwards. But some people have larger livers and process alcohol differently or have an extreme tolerance. Yeah it would be better to just ban this behavior regardless but this type of authoritarian approach is just not conducive to the concept of a free society. It’s like banning guns entirely, the rich will still have them police will still kill is with them and wars will Still be fought to eradicate large swaths of the population so people should have them just in case anything happens. Inalways here the argument against guns like typically pointed st conservatives like if guns are for overthrowing tyrannical Governments then why aren’t you doing anything now (thats because the right is adjacent to and supporting of fascism as they believe it benefits them/ see themselves as equal to the ruling class) as the government is definitely violating the constitution in several ways as I type. but the better argument is what happens if we are invaded and the extremely sophisticated machines of murder our societies militarized imperial apparatus fail to function, are sabotaged not to function or just overpowered. Are we just going to lie down and succumb to an invading force? It’s like if we have firefighters then why would we need fire extinguishers, the government saying we can make you safer by limiting your behavior is just tyranny. Murder and theft and rape which is a theft should be criminalized but with murder you can’t really just wait for the state to defend your life that wont happen 999 times out of a thousand. 1 of 20 gun related homicides involve police. But back to the topic of impaired driving instead of analyzing the functionality and legitimacy of y C B ugh e laws within our society. If someone is visibly swerving and stumbling/ slurring their speech, torally, if thats observed they deserve to be stopped. Like maybe AI tools or just a vehicle that can detect this and stop it. In a way that can be done so that it is not a surveillance state nightmare that then notifies authorities and ruins your life but just that will slow the car down and pull over or even prevent swerving. Self driving tech has some potential here. When we dont need to drive in the future this thpe of behavior policing will be beyond unnecessary. Then with uppers its ridiculous to think someone high on cocaine or methamphetamine will be bad at driving. And as far as cannabis, considering someone who has cannabis in their system “impaired” is ridiculous unless they are drunk or tripping on acid at the same time to a level that makes the turn into a 3 dimensional pathway into a parallel universe then smoking pot is going to make driving harder. But it’s just not a straightforward thing. I can almost undersrand drunk driving laws, like it’s a shitty drug and it just makes you dumb and slow. Some people can’t function without it and need to have an elevated BAC level. Like extreme alcoholics on their way to liver cirrhosis probably couldn’t tie their shoes or wipe their ass without having a BAC of 0.08. With cannabis i even read a tripple A study a long time ago when states first started to legalize cannabis that said the amount of tetrahydrocannabinol, and/ or cannabidol / cannabinol one has in their system doesnt determine how impaired they are and ultimately impaired functions and behavior are nor determinable through bloodwork. One could easily do a study and pick other random factors and probably do a study that says arbitrary things can affect your condition to drive. Emotional state, race/ ethnicity, wether you grew up with both parents or not, how much money you have. Discriminatory determinations like this don’t provide concrete results in one way or another. Now they have a new study that came out this hear i read that for es was involved but it basically said 83% of cannabis users smoke the same day they drive and the criteria was they smoked within & hours of when they next drove like that is a totally ridiculous parameter.

Some people have different brain chemistry/ cognitive functioning like people witb ADHD and consuming cannabis can allow them to focus in a sate of flow which is a real psychological state. I read a book on it about 15 years ago written by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi called “flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience”(highly recommend everyone to read this especially artists, musicians writers) it’s a state where the person feels as if time has slowed down and they have the ability to hyper focus and make the vest choice/ improvise in an uninhabited way like with improvisational music or guitar, or writing but really it’s a universal state across any physical activity that’s just the way the mind works. I know I’ve besn drunk and experienced this state before especially playing music or trying to rizz up a baddie, but when i was drunk it definitely felt like it was work to operate in that headspace and the more alcohol the slower the response. I do think that to be the case for most people. But with other drugs that don’t reduce your ability to write your name if you have too much its way different. Like someone with heavy opioid tolerance who’s prescribed heavy dose of methadone in comparison to others will be perfectly fine to function on any amount of opioid that isn’t far larger than their usual dose of opioids… like if someone with a dose of methadone thpically larger than 100 milligrams if they break their leg or get into an incident where they need pain relief they will need a much larger dose of an instant releif opioid for breakthrough pain. Im talking like 20-30mg of dialaudid which could anesthetize most people but everyone is different.

Ive always been responsible with my enjoyment of mind / mood altering chemicals I think drugs are awesome and I have some firm probably subversive beliefs on drug prohibition. I believe those ideas are sane and reasonable but we live in an insane corrupt backwards oriented society and things are only getting worse unfortunately.

  • You need some perspective. Citizens didn’t ubiquitously abandon their rights. But rather we have been the victims of a cold calculated class war waged upon us since nixon. It all began to fall apart 54 years ago and the ruling class solidified this reality with many actions firstly being the pardoning of Nixon. His nomination of Lewis F powell to the supreme court who was a vocal Fascist and set the stage for citizens united which legalized corruption and turned the corporatist nature of our institutions into an obvious reality. Nixon also ended the gold standard which was the first domino toppled that would inevitably devalue the us dollar intentionally to reduce the cost of labor that could not be outsourced and turn the working class into a low paid service industry of wage slaves. Reagan re legalizing stock buybacks and signing cafta which would become nafta sending every good manufacturing job and the 7 satelite roles for each of those jobs to the third world for 90-95%+ reduction in cost.

Meanwhile our education system was attacked (roger freeman who was advisor to both Nixon and reagan said the quiet part out loud when he said “We are on the verge of having a highly educated proletariat, this is dynamite! We need to be more selective about who we allow to go through higher education” they removed classes like automotive shop, wood shop, financial literacy, home economics art and music to make us dependent upon consumerism and unable to repair the goods we purchase to maintain our quality of life. This turned our education system into a conformity academy creating obedient workers and punishing those who broke the mold in order to produce generations of citizens just smart enough to run the machines but not smart enough to understand how ruthlessly we are being exploited and fucked Then our parents were inundated with the advent of entertainment television and were too distracted to understand the magic glowing box their leisure and recreation time revolved around was a propaganda dissemination device conditioning them to mindlessly support ideas and policies against their own self interests. And for a while journalism did it’s job there was something called the fairness in media doctrine where news programs had to devote an equal amount of time to both sides of an issue and there were attempts to legislate this into law but theu were vetoed by the Reagan administration and again by the bush senior administration and soon after fox news was born with the primary purpose of insuring no conservative presidential administration was ever held accountable for malfeasance the way nixon was ever again.even though he got off extremely light unfortunately and now we are where we are partly because of the failure of our social Institutions to seek justice for such blatant corruption. nevermind the unconstitutional and illegal war on drugs he unleashed which has been a tool to persecute leftists from the very beginning

And our elections are a total joke. Even if they weren’t compromised true leftist economic populism has been eradicated from social discourse ever since LBJ declined the party nomination and then RFK was subsequently assassinated. And this was just one of over a dozen assassinations of popular leftist and left aligned leaders in a 2 decade time span.

Princeton did a study that showed the amount of influence one has on potential policy and legislation is directly proportional to your wealth with regular working class people having an irrelevant statistically near zero effect on any potential policy/ Legislation regardless how popular or unpopular it is. The media owned by the same billionaires who bribe both right wing parties in the usa just manufacture our consent and the majority just believe whatever they see that is convincing enough.

So the reality here is our entire sociopolitical system is corrupted by money. There is a class of ultra rich powerful people/ groups who legitimately believe they have divine provenance over society because of their socioeconomic status and can dk whatever they want with impunity. So the idea that they would for some reason see the us election system as being too sacred for them to manipulate in the same way they manipulate every other aspect of society, is just extremely naive.

In Germany the supreme court heard a case on election integrity sometime in the last 10-15 years (i can’t remember when exactly and Im too lazy right now to search and risk my rant be lost because of my shitty phone resetting the app) but their supreme court ultimately decided that electronic voting is unconstitutional because it is impossible to differentiate between fraudulent results and legitimate ones for any layperson who isn’t a cybersecurity or IT expert.

There are many Americans who have allowed this and been convinced it’s a good thing but even they have been victimized to support something that is so blatantly antithetical to their own self interests. There are a very small amount of us who see what is happening and although we don’t have a looking glass to see exactly how it happened we are smart enough to understand how we ended up where we are.

Probably some stuff I’m missing here. U could go on at addendum about how the world bank and imf are lying about the true measure of inflation to keep the working class from rioting and fomenting revolution and the passive income continuing to roll into the bank accounts of the super rich. So now the majority of Americans are so impoverished living paycheck to paycheck with no emergency savings and this renders us unable to organize and foment the revolution we need that is obliviously the only way since it is clear the system will not allow any remediation through it’s own mechanisms.

But yeah the only Americans you should be hard on are maga dipshits and neo liberals who honesty believe we can vote our way out of this obvious broken shitshow.

  • There is a point after all your basic needs are met for Iife and you have enough money to do something fun/ intellectually enriching and interesting every day of your life and pay for any healthcare you may need if an emergency arises or as a result of your own mortality where the accumulation of more wealth to satiate your ego is detrimental to one’s own sense of humanity. I think $5-10 million is a reasonable sum for someone to live a fulfilling life. With the rate of continual currency devaluation through the increase of our national debt and introduction of more printed currency into the supply (the main driving forces of inflation which current inflation models used by the IMF and world Bank intentionally exclude from their inflationary models) $20-25 million may be more reasonable in the next several decades.

  • Here is a basic logical analysis of our “democratic” republic.

Everything, and i mean EVERYTHING regarding our sociopolitical system is up for sale and easily manipulated by money. It was this way before citizens United but then citizens united just exacerbated this and pushed this so far that a study done by Princeton concluded that the amount of influence one has on any potential political policy is directly proportional to how wealthy you are with regular working class people having a statistically irrelevant near zero level of influence on any potential policy/Legislation regardless as to how popular or unpopular it may be.

So in a system where it is obvious a small group of people with immense wealth and privilege who act as though they have divine provenance to dictate how our society is run what gives anyone the extremely naive idea that for a class of people who effectively believe themselves to be above the law they would for some reason consider the American democratic process to be one step too far for them to exert influence upon by any means necessary?

In Germany there was a supreme court case concerning election integrity within the last 15-20 years or so(i don’t exactly remember when) but the supreme court ultimately decided that electronic voting is unconstitutional because it is impossible to differentiate between fraudulent results and legitimate ones for laypeople who are not cybersecurity/ IT experts. And this is what the US needs immediately as well as a repeal of citizens United, and laws that prevent a biased Supreme Court acting in bad faith.

True leftism has been eradicated from the sociopolitical discourse. The Democratic party has shifted to the right every election since LBJ refused the party nomination and then RFK was subsequently shot in the head. To think that this has not been achieved through subversive collusion of individuals/ organizations/ entities with like minded interests and agendas requires the same level of naïveté it takes to believe our presidential elections have not been tampered with to benefit wall street Military and prison industry profiteers.
