Anyway, NSC had their chance then to still draw a line and put an end to the cabinet. They chose to stay instead. Whatever spine they could have still claimed to have had, whithered away quickly then.

I think it’s more likely that the genocide denial will just continue on. Just cast doubt on anything concerning it, split hairs over the exact definition of ‘genocide’, poisoning the well by claiming all information illuminating the genocide is from Hamas and propaganda.

This is what’s happening now, I don’t see why it’d stop.

Het begin van het „onontgonnen terrein” ligt al een poosje terug. Een extreemrechts kabinet is voor Nederland tamelijk onontgonnen - met de hartelijke dank aan de goede bestuurders van NSC.

Als je van Indisch eten houdt, zeker. Ik ben naar die in het Ahoy in Rotterdam geweest, en die in Dordrecht.

Het is echter vooral een soort markt (pasar malam betekent dan ook gewoon avondmarkt), met veel eten, potjes sambal en hele bergen prullen.

Gevoelsmatig is de doelgroep qua leeftijd wel boven de vijftig, dus het heeft voor mij ook wel iets van een bejaardenevenement. Als je dat niks vindt, kan ik het niet aanbevelen - ik heb er zelf niet zo’n probleem mee :p

Vorig jaar was ik met mijn vader op het Bluegrass Festival.

Maar zelf hou ik eigenlijk niet van festivals. Er zijn te veel mensen, is te veel gedoe met kraampjes enzo, en de muziek is mij doorgaans te luid en staat me sowieso eigenlijk nooit echt aan (hoewel bluegrass nog wel grappig is).

Ik ga liever naar klassieke concerten :)

Tenzij een pasar malam ook een soort festival is - die vind ik dan weer wel leuk :p

Eten jullie weleens vleesvervangers? Ik eet met enige regelmaat tahoe en tempeh, maar meer voor in de nasi (hoewel tahoe en tempeh mijns inziens weinig te maken hebben met vlees).

Als iemand bij mijn kantoorbaantje „mijn” WC-hokje inpikt.

Eettentjes die het in Rotterdam hebben over „friet” in plaats van „patat”.

De al een flinke poos durende waanzin wat betreft het combineren van zoveel mogelijk smaken bij zoete troep (poffertjes met karamel-zeezout-Dubaichocolade-crême fraichevulling en een dikke laag ahornsiroop). Hoewel dit volgens mij ook een toeristendingetje is, dus dan gaat het al richting mijn grotere ergernissen :p

Naja, je hoeft niet per se monarchistisch te zijn om van paleizen en gouden koetsen te houden.

Only symbolic measures are being taken: barring two especially extremist ministers entry and air drops which are pointless and even dangerous.

The former is pretty useless. The latter is just playing by Israel’s rules. Israel ‘allows’ European planes to drop aid over Gaza. Why does Israel allow this? Because it gives ‘friendly’ countries something to show to their increasingly anti-Israel populations - it’s meant to release some of the pressure with ‘good news’. By participating in these droppings, the Dutch government is allowing Israel to go on starving the Gazan population. These droppings are criminal.
