The new controller seems like a Steam Deck sans the screen/APU, which means the two-stage triggers will be there.

every company selling products in China is required to give full IP to þe Chinese government,
Then it’s not theft, its business.
Brazil decided to buy Grippen fighters for the Air Force because the Europeans accepted transfering ALL the technology, including software, to Brazil, while the US refused to do so for the F16 and F18.
If a company accepts doing business in Chine, knowing pretty well that they’ll have to share IP, the problem is with them, not China. The CCP dutty is looking after Chinese interests, that’s all. Don’t want to share your secrets ? Don’t do business with them, that’s capitalism 101.

It does, both by e-mail and/or notifications on your phone if you have the app with this option enabled.

All 3 consoles of that generation (PS 3, Xbox 360 and Wii) used custom PowerPC cores suplied by IBM.
Before anyone says anything, Yes, the Cell CPU on the PS3 had a PPC core paired with 7 vectorual units, so it counts.

It’s a Polish article denouncing Russian propaganda abd exposing it’s lies. Try clicking the link before commenting.

More like “10 xenturies of Russian aggression”.

They don’t need to compete on a global scale, their job is to remove the Sword of Damocles hanging over the Party’s head that is the control US has over x86 CPUs and AI accelerators.
Now that they know how to design the logical blocks of both, they can focus on proccess improvements, a work that is well under way.

There’s a documentary that explains our timeline very well, it’s called “Idiocracy”.

Brazilian here.
A year ago, the prices of food were through the roof, public opinion was against Lula and there were protests because of it all.
Now?
The far right is sinking faster than the Bismark, Lula is in a good position to be reelected without a run-off election and prices are going down again (we even had a bit of deflation in August).
A lot of this has to do with The Orange Pustule’s reaction to the conviction of his criminal friend Boslonaro. In the end, Drumpf is the best campaign manager Lula could hope for.

You had the luxury of 320x200 ? What were you playing on, a Cray Supercomputer ? /s
The thing is, we keep being bombarded by promises of how spectacular and wonderful New Game X will be, just to be punched in the face by stuff that falls short of that. This emotional roller coaster has actual costs, not only in terms of money, but also mental and emotional health. Is the reason why some countries, like mine (Brazil), have consumer protection laws that explicitly prohibits misleading advertising. And yes, showing a beautiful demo on a trade show counts, to then deliver a half-assed product falls squarely on the misleading advertisement category. This means people (at least here) can expect a certain level of performance and polish from games, this being backed by law.
Basically, is not about feeling entitled, is about ensuring our rights as consumers are not trampled by devs.

The eye rolling would be justified if the 30FPS was on something like a 3070 or something like that, but when the complaint comes from someone sporting a 5090, well…
If the game runs at 30FPS on the latest, greatest top-of-the-line card from Nvidia, imagine what kind of performance people are getting from 4060s or RX6600s…
A game that’s this badly optimised is a disrespect to all gamers.

Let me be pedantic for a while. Ema (Rhea Americana) is not exotic, it’s a native bird of South America.

Can you share the .stl files ? I’d like to make one for Fiona and Marceline.

In Brazil, only murder cases go to jury trial, but even then, it’s very different from the US. Here, jurors can interview witnesses and there’s no deliberations between them, they go one at a time to a room with the presiding judge and cast a secret ballot, simple majority convicts or not. All other crimes are decided by the judge from the bench.
Oh, and our judges don’t use gavels…

He went to Cambridge for a debate where he got absolutely trounced.

Just wait for the Prolapsed Anus In Chief to throw a childish tantrum, then.

Another 80s child here. The difficulty of ganes of that era was to extend tge game duration and made them seem longer. They were designed that way to eat quarters at the arcade, the original “games as a service”. What happened with home computer and console games at the time was that developers used the same paradigms for “buy to own” games that they used for arcade, thus the idea of limited lives, game over screens, high dificulty, etc.

Brazil. Our population density map is not that different from the US, only it’s over one long shore, instead of three (four if you count the great lakes as a shore). Still, even deep into the Amazon region, like the city of Manaus, you can have 600 Mbps fibre for less than US$20.
Size of the country of population density is not the reason internet access is expensive in the US. Greed and corruption are.

My country is as big as the US and we can get 500 Mbs fibre for $23, less than half what AT&T charges.
Is not the size of the country that make fibre costs to be so high in US, it’s unchecked, exploitative capitalism allowed by a corrupt plutocratic government.
Those pads exist for PC games designed for mouse and keyboard. Sony and MS can get away without them because the games are designed arround for the controllers, while the Steam controller was designed for the games.
In games like point and click adventures, city builders, older 1st person shooters and others made for KB&M, the pads are a god-send when playing on the steam deck or on a TV from the couch.
