I tried mint and it absolutely hated my Bluetooth mouse. Like moving it would cause it to disconnect and reconnect hundreds of times, each spawning a separate notification.
Man. At this point, everybody at Ubuntu, at Gnome and even KDE needs to understand that Mint are doing it right.
We don’t need a new desktop environment paradigm, we dont need every single pixel to be configurable. And not everything needs to be a damn snap.
Keep it simple and focus on making things work.

Sounds like an XHCI handoff issue, is your Bluetooth run over USB3.1 by any chance?
Mint is absolutely slamming it for new users, but as a KDE user, I’m happy to have the diversity :)
