NO! That will make things much worse.

We need to stop putting more carbon into the carbon cycle. That means figuring a way to permanently sequester it (trees do not do this). This is the issue we must solve.

Until then we need fewer people especially in the developed nations

I’ll be the buzzkill again and ask what the solution is to our dependence on industrial fertilizers to feed billions of people. Oil byproducts don’t stop at plastic and rubber, it’s literally how we feed ourselves.
