I just think it’s a neat little addition that gives you that, “ahhhhhhhhh, I remember that!” feeling.
- Once I noticed that I started using it to make nice, personalized loading screens. It’s also a bit of a cheat tool since it allows you to stop time and look around with free camera. Very useful for the Ryujin Industry stealth quest - You can also use it to scout planets! Just raise the camera to its limit and look around the space. It’s such an awesome feature.
- I haven’t played starfield (here from all), is stealth not as broken as other bethsoft games? Or is it just an extra tool you can get on top of op stealth - This time around, stealth is “locked” behind the Stealth skill. You can still sneak around without it, but it’s basically like having your sneak at 1 in Elder Scrolls. People will notice you immediately, and you won’t have a “hidden/detected” indicator unless you invest in the skill at all.

- Cool, I really need to take some pictures now. Most of the planets I visited look like barren wasteland though… maybe I can find some interesting sunrises at least. - Yeah, the rocky planets and moons are mostly just for the horizons. But there are some really nice ones. - Any gas giant with rings, for example. They always look nice imo.

- This is one of the first games I’ve taken time to stop and take time to use the photo mode because of this feature - i believe fallout 76 also does this

- I have a sneaking suspicion that other players photos are appearing as loading screens as well. Some of them just look a bit more like gameplay than offical. - Not sure if this in confirmed or not, I’ve just been thinking about it for a while.
- That’s cool, it’s a shame that on Linux taking photos in photo mode doesn’t work, nothing gets saved to the gallery. - It got fixed in the latest build of proton experimental - Oh brilliant, thanks.

- I took a photo of a guy in Akila City who looks like CJ (the San Andreas CJ, not the New Atlantis CJ). Now I sometimes see him as a load screen.
- @Crikeste
Jep! Used it for one photo with two different overlays.
- Is this pc only? I heard it a few times but don’t see the same on Xbox series s - It’s all showing up on my Series X
