I once wore a chainmail shirt with nothing underneath for a LARP for 6 hours straight… it took five guys to get me out of it because the blood on my nipples had caked and all my body hair (I’m a hairy dude) had wrapped around the links… getting that thing off of me sounded like super loud velcro and hurt like getting skinned alive. Super smooth skin afterwards though.
No padding under the chainmail “skin suit”. Getting hit by a sword is still going to hurt a lot 😵
