It’s been said that the election of facists is driven by the failure and corruption of liberal democratic governments. But in this case it was partly caused by the appointment of the conservative Merrick Garland as AG and the emergence of overt propaganda networks. A felon skated through an Election cycle because of no enforcement of the law and a lack of public awareness of how guilty that felon was.
