        Now there’s a memory. My male parent could code switch from court room/general/bogan on demand. It wasn’t until I was much older I realised most people don’t work like that, it’s also a skill I’m much less good at.

          I’ve lived a lot of different lives, that required very different communication styles. I’ve had a lot of practice, and now it’s my job basically lol.

        I don’t enjoy it, but am actively dong it more rather than running away from shit instead. I’m not good at Medium.

          I’m just overly sensitive 😂 worked in call centres for a thousand years. I always tell people, be nice to the person your speaking to, and then politely escalate if needed. Consultants will move mountains for you if you are kind and genuine with them :)

          Sometimes though, partial to full Karen is required. Especially if it’s the company’s fault lol

            Totally get that. I’ve done front counter work before. Inability to go off script is the worst bit. Escalate without me using that word if it’s needed.
