    The Hunka’s are fairly well known in the ukrainian community in North Bay. Have done a lot of stuff in Sudbury as well.

        It’s not like they’re a fairly important group, but have been in Northern Ontario for a long time. I know of Yaroslav Hunka from the Holodomor bus, which would come around every once and a while. He’s not, like, a major figure, but you could tell a lot of the ukrainian groups in the two cities deferred a lot to him.

              The indigenous population probably agrees, but likely not how they mean.
