    it’s kinda a multi stage process, there’s a test, then a psych, then another test, then there’s things for me to fill out for the outsider perspective, he’s digging up old report cards, all that fun stuff.

      All that stuff is why I don’t have a formal Dx Re ASD. No, you cannot speak to anyone who knew me as a kid, they are dead, demented, or persona non.

        well they’re added weight, but they’re not specifically required. The biggest roadblock is the fucking expense, jesus.

        Same re ASD. And I don’t feel like forking out the $3k or so for testing, either

        E: not that I don’t think getting a diagnosis would be valuable, I’m just over drs appointments etc

          yeah I didn’t bother because 1) wont change shit and 2) anyone I mention being ASD to universally goes DUUUUUUHHHHHHHH

          ADHD test is required for His Lordship though because it’s hit a point where its started doing damage. He doesn’t have to put up with that nonsense.

            As someone who has been through the ADHD process. HelloGP are cheap and refer you to their cheap remote psychiatrists. Super easy process.
