How much do they spend on these rockets as compared to military spending? Compared to tax incentives and bailouts for large corporations? For dead-end pet projects for reps who are trying to pander to their demographics, or secure contracts for their buddies in the lobbying business?
That’s very true and I apologize. I understand / get that. I was just trying to joke / have a humorous moment there.
And believe Me , I think space exploration and science itself are super important. Just not as important when we have a pandemic/crisis of substance abuse, mental illness and poverty (aka systemic inequality) and systemic racism going on in our country. So until we bring our nation to a “full democracy” level 🎚️ instead of letting it sit&sink in “flawed democracy” level ( where we are at now ) , I don’t care for nothing TBH 😔
