    Last April, the US Department of Transportation finalized the rule requiring all vehicle manufacturers to include automatic emergency braking in their sedans, SUVs, and pickup trucks by 2029.

    That’s a nice and overly long way of saying that commercial vehicles are exempt from this rule.
