So I just bought a OnePlus 12 recently, I was used to controlling volume using the onehand operations goodlock module in my Samsung galaxy S23. I basically never had to press the volume buttons to control the volume unless absolutely necessary.
Possible ways I’ve thought of (it would be really great if at all possible) -
-
Using the curved edges in phone screen for volume control.
-
Using the gestures to control volume when the screen is off.
-
Setting Diagonal swiping gestures to do different functions, controlling volume in this case.
EDIT :
- One can also use gestures like tapping the body of the device as well.
Basically I use this app called ‘Tap Tap’ which enables me to double tap the back of my phone to execute some task.
In this case I set the double tap to reduce volume. It brings up the slider and I can control the volume from there.
I hope this will be helpful.
Thanks for sharing this, but I have found another way to control the volume. I’m using back taps on my phone to control the volume now. It’s very convenient.
I have edited my post to include how I enabled this.
