Your telling me that an advanced civilization somehow developed near or faster than light speed travel, solved the various navigation and radiation issues, then came all the way to our planet and crashed?

I’m not sure why everyone assumes extraterrestrial.

FTL travel is also the same bottleneck to most of theoretical time travel.

Given that almost no signals from Earth traveling at the speed of light would have reached far enough to have attracted new attention of alien life, if UFOs aren’t from present day Earth, then there would only be two circumstances that seem probable:

      (1) They were here for a very long time such that there was no need to have been alerted to emergent intelligence in the past few thousand years.

      (2) The more advanced than present but fairly similar class of alleged technologies is not from anywhere else and it’s simply more advanced because it literally is the same technology more advanced. Which would also partially explain the limited intervention.

Though I’m extremely skeptical it’s actually anything outside the norm of local space or time. There’s been a lot of manipulation of public opinion around this topic before, and that seems the most likely culprit for the present activity given historical results.

Dont you see? Humanity is SO special and important that beings so advanced as to effectively be gods have traveled unfathomable distances to give blurry grainy images of their existence. I mean, we’re the center of the solar system, and probably the universe too.

I would have assumed that they are unmanned. If they are extraterrestrial, I assume they would just be some explaratory craft sent in thousands or millions of different directions and eventually happened upon earth.

I spent 10 years in the desert following weird people and their alien stories. From Hinkley to Joshua Tree. One 70yo woman, who I stayed with for about 8 months, was heavily into the UFO community. She was a Scientologist from way back in the L Ron Hubbard days and the editor of the UFO FORUM for years. She gave a lot of speeches at events and would tell about how she and the aliens had sex. The stories were explicit and she had made a two hour video about it that I, and others who were in our 20’s at the time, watched.

The stories she told, she for sure believed. She had a lot of alien relationships but for some reason they all left and now they all communicate telepathically. I never met one nor did I experience anything super natural.

Aliens that traveled here do not exist. The people who believe in them are not well. The people who are well, just don’t know any better. Humans lie and trick each other all the time and aliens are just another lie.

This woman had a 10 acre parcel that was a failed prepper camp for Y2K. They believed everything about the Y2K scare. Aquaponics, radio equipment, cabins, chicken coops, they had (possibly) a solid setup that was now wasting in the SoCal desert. They had drawers of files that I and others had scoured through to make some sense of it all. Well documented outlines of her life. Turns out she was a high level Scientologist and couldn’t get a higher rating because she was failing her emotional tests. The way I read it was they were gaslighting her to pay more money to be in their club but who knows. She even had a vintage E-METER that was in a wooden box. If you know anything a out Scientology you would know that this E-meter was a serious find. The E-meter is the control machine.

Anyway, I am an electronics technician so of course I opened it up to see what it did. To my surprise it was basically a multimeter hooked up to two leads that would jump when touched. It was something you could have put together with components from crap toys at a gas station. But it looked cool and special.

Anyway, there’s so much more to the story but seriously, aliens aren’t real don’t believe that bullshit folks. The world IS magical but not because of human bullshit.

    Old prepper camp

You’ve gotta follow the golden rule: it’s NEVER aliens.

I am curious to see what kind of tech it is though that has people talking so much lately.
