Grumman Aerospace sent North American Rockwell an invoice for towing the Apollo 13 Command Module back with the Lunar Module.
In response North American reminded Grumman that North American Rockwell had not received any payment for ferrying the Lunar Modules on previous trips to the moon.

Oh man I spent a long time just looking at this and reading the handwriting and trying to figure out what was being towed. At first I thought it must be a ship, but supplemental oxygen? Maybe it was a submarine mission? Maybe they had to keep something burning? Then I saw Apollo 13 and was like “oh, hmm…ohhhhhhhh.”
Damn, Grumman throwing mad shade.
$0.05/kWh — where do I sign up?
In 1970 New York. Time to see if that time machine you got on eBay works.
time machine you got on eBay
Ah, there’s your mistake. Everyone knows you gotta get your time machine from Ikea.
Without that extra 2% cash discount, it would have been $420k and change. Nice.
