Yes. The one I took the snippet from is the first one that opened when I clicked the search result. I didn’t know it was outdated as I didn’t do a deep dive. I also didn’t know retardation got renamed either. Sry, my bad. The term retarded means slow btw. The reason it got a negative connotation is because people used it negatively. I’m fairly certain the word is still widely used and also do I really need to like check like every word before I say it because it may or may not be the official one anymore?

I have no interest in researching what is the newest most official term for stuff. Also, saying “retarded” way shorter then saying “a person with developmental disability”.
