I consider Andor to be in a class of its own in quality. The cinematography & writing are simply amazing; it’s very clear that the show runners have something to say, and went to great lengths to bring that vision to the screen. Criminality underrated by the wider audience, I consider s1 to be in the ranks of the best tv shows I’ve seen, period, never mind just as star wars material.
I don’t want to oversell it but I honestly think Andor is the best thing to come out of Star Wars in decades. It’s like the last flower of the franchise.
I don’t know how it could ever be topped. For me, it’s the peak of it all.
Not to give anything away, but there is a three (or so?) episode arc in the middle with Andy Circus (sp? Anyway, the guy who played Gollum) that is standalone some of the best television I’ve never seen. Like, it’s such great incisive sci-fi anti corporate commentary, I don’t know how a corporation green lit this
It’s definitely not more of the same. It stands apart in tone, quality, and execution. It is in the right place in that picture, on top, front and center.

It was competing for attention with house of the dragon with no jedis.
Really?
Is cleared if from my radar thinking it was more of the usual , but maybe I’ll give it a look.
It’s the best star wars story out there imo. It really explores the motivations behind the rebellion.
You should 100% give it a watch! It so good

Wow I fell asleep last night and completely forgot I was going to watch this today. Thanks for the reminder!
