When browsing Local or Everything feeds, it would be helpful to me to have some sort of indicator next to the community name, that tells me if I am already subscribed to it or not.

With more and more communities getting added, and partial duplicates across different instances, I often have to open the community first to see if I have already subscribed or not.

Too easy to hit that on accident. It’s just 3 clicks currently. Triple dots -> filter -> filter community.

“reeee, everyone should live in cities and walk everywhere!!!1! What do you mean people live in rural areas miles away from everything and need to be able to haul shit themselves and be self-sufficient because no one in my cities actually gives a fuck about anyone outside of our tiny geographic region that we view as the center of the fucking universe?!”

Definitely. The best way to discover new communities is to browse Everything but there’s no way of knowing if you’re already subscribed or not.
