Standard AZ licenses for instance don’t expire until you turn 65. Even though you’re supposed to get a new photo every 10 years, you could have your first license almost to retirement and still have it technically be valid.
I have a passport. I flat out refuse to get a real id until I have no other option at my local dmv. Feds can get fucked making states do shit for them.
I’m sure that when they came up with it they knew calling it that meant you could say “That’s not a real ID”. Capitalization doesn’t carry over to voice.
