Written by me, and then I take multiple chat bot images and make manual corrections and edits in GIMP to get the comic panels.
So if I had to pick yes or no to “is it AI generated?” I’d say “no”
But I’m not sure if the “AI generated” check box is equivalent to that question, or more like “does it contain auto generated content?” which would be “yes”
Edit - will absolutely not be using the check box for these comics due to a fucked up reply that got too many upvotes

Do as you want, some people will use the checkbox, other won’t. Some will block people that post AI content without telling them or report it to the mod team. Some mod may flag AI content, i’m part of them, i will flag them if i can do so.
Personal opinion, i consider, given the current trend, we need to build a place where we can trust each other.
You may not be aware of the current state of server management. Lot AI bot were spotted or repported. There is 2 kinds of AI bot : crawlers and chat bot.
Crawler are uterlly destroying the server capacity : they take lot bandwidth so the speed our pages’s load is affected. They also take lot memory ressource. A sysadmin shared his experience on how his hard drive were burnt by crawlers. He admitted he didn’t put any defence system as Anubis.
And there is chat bot interacting with users. That’s a more serious problem because of their influence and they may follow a political agenda. You don’t know why it is here nor who use them. You may not spot them and interact with them. So how would you fell if you spent hours with a bot instead of a human ? Bad. Not happy. You will start being suspicious of anyone, everyone.
Being careful anytime is exhausting. Verifying is exhausting. But you can offer users a way to trust you and chose.
That’s mostly the reason why the checkbox exist :
