        Yes, but sometimes places in tv shows are fake. I assumed Pawnee was one such fictional place, after all, they go into the history of pawnee and historical artworks which includes comically excessive and callous depictions of genocide of native people.

        I assume the various mentions of the Wamapoke aren’t 100% accurate to the actual events and attitudes in Pawnee itself.
