Explanation: Romans wore tunics, which generally did not reach the knees. Flexible and breathable! This includes the Roman Legions. Trousers were denigrated as ‘barbarian’, though Legions in northern areas and the later Empire would begin to wear them regularly.
Julius Caesar’s right-hand man, Mark Antony, was noted as wearing scandalously short tunics to show off his muscular legs. Ooh la la!
war. war never changes.
and neither do sluts. :]
Meanwhile, the Celts: “HERE COMES DANGLING WAAAAAAAANG!!!”
I came into this world naked, and I’m leaving it naked!
naked and screaming, covered in blood. Same on the way out.
If you can’t afford armor, might as well strip down so your clothes don’t get damaged or soaked in blood.
Clothing on the battle field is going to be filthy. A fighter is more likely to get an infected wound if cloth gets pushed into the wound.
What a strategy though!
Imagine you’re ready to fight and these insane bastards just run at you naked.
One on the right looks a lot like Lulu Chu
