It is known as Monomakh’s cap. It’s a mongol era muscovian kings cap and has mythical origin story that tries to connect muscovy with rome through kievan princes of rurick dynasty (they were related before dynasty changed).
Also exterior and interior church design is more or less copied from byzantium designs, they loved their arcs and crosses.
Interior design is largely unchanged, I think, from late byzantene one.
