I’ve been one of the people saying “we don’t need more users. we need quality over quantity” and i was wrong.

the way it’s going, lemmy needs active users who post content sothat the network stays relevant. networks like the fediverse benefit from network effects and that means that if we have more users, that improves the value and quality of the fediverse overall.

So please, everyone, when you can, make advertisement for the fediverse in your personal area. Go talk to friends, make attractive stickers and put them everywhere, stuff like that. We would all benefit from it.

      Ese es el drama de casi todas las comunidades, a lo más la de watones informáticos posteamos un poco más.

      Por eso dije urbanidad también, asi algo más general que solo trenes jajaja

      No importa, uno es mejor que cero.

      Ahora, entiendo que no todos tienen el ánimo de hacer, y mantener eso. Cuando fue la migración desde reddit me vine al fediverso y creé tres comunidades con la esperanza que fueran landing strips para que otra gente en similar situación tuviera la alternativa a reddit, pero pasaron los años y nunca nadie entró.

      Desafortunadamente problema es que cosas que son muy niche cuesta mucho conversarlas en un random, se ahogan dentro de todo lo demás. Consecuentemente hace que sea mucho más difćil encontrarlas.
