A ‘through and through’ wound in the shoulder allows for use of the arm in the next scene.
Yea, you have a shattered shoulder blade there mate.
They also have the cabin lights on while driving.
Bullets through water. Physics don’t work that way.
At least we’ve mostly seen an end to people being “blown away”.
That’s a minor plot point in Terry Pratchett’s Nation. Throughout the book the characters encounter all kinds of strange phenomena like musket bullets being stopped by water which could be attributed to magic but the characters go out of their way to explain them with science.
If this wouldn’t have the pratchett disclaimer it’d sound quite dull
My fav part about this edit is that it has the white seat backwards so it looks like the seat is just interrupting them
Every gun in a movie has to have metallic click clack noises so you know there’s a gun involved. A gun with no hammer will be drawn and a hammer cocking noise will play. According to movies, guns a made with the tolerances of a fencepost and are all rattly. This is part of my larger complaint about foley in movies. It often sounds very separated from the action on screen. Not always. But sometimes it sounds like the leather and metal sounds of the cool hero character are as loud as the vocals and have perfect clarity.
Your average random office worker/teacher/whatever that somehow turns into a cold blooded killing machine despite never actually having touched a gun before
Humans exploding from internal pressure or freezing within seconds of being unprotected in space.
Drives me batty.
Exploding? I haven’t seen that, but the freezing, it annoys me every time I see it. Although tbf, the real effects are likely too brutal and horrifying to accurately depict and still get a decent age rating for the movie.
Sometimes characters get hit with a steel pipe and don’t even flinch. Sometimes a light slap knocks them out
And rear view mirrors.
