That’s kind of derailing. Nobody is downplaying that (except the racists who are are perpetuating the problem, but they’re okay with this too). Most people here have probably also been speaking out against all the violence against POC.
If someone commented on a post about a POC being murdered by cops/ICE, and said “but what about the white people they killed,” you would call that derailing. And that’s exactly what you’re doing here.
You’re downplaying the tragedy that is the implicit topic of this current post, which is the woman who was recently murdered by ICE in Minneapolis. You apparently don’t care about this event, because the victim was white, and you’re arguing that we should ignore it simply because she wasn’t a POC.

Yes they are and I yelled about that too and you have no way of knowing who here did and didn’t. Yes the system is corrupt but the people you speak with here aren’t the system, we are individuals.
