I never minded it as a kid either. I didnt have to go sock shopping which i hated. Tho I usually got it from the outer family. If i got socks from nuclear family, i wouldve went insane.
I guess it was the same with me :) I always wanted Lego sets or some other toy or gadget. I did appreciate the gifts from anyone though. I. Or ally got some clothes from them and toys from my parents.
Underwear and socks. I unironically love socks and underwear as Gifts. I guess im just that age now…
