When “good” cops don’t speak up about cops violating the law they’re actually putting their jobs on hold for the benefit of bad cops.
Retail workers aren’t paid to enforce behavior, they’re paid to sell consumer goods. If 1000 “good” retail workers stopped working just to support 10 bad ones, they would be 1010 bad ones. But 1000 retailer workers who ignore the lazy guys and keep selling stuff are doing their jobs just fine.
