It cost 80 people and counting their lives. It cost homes and it destroyed the livelihood of dozens of Venezuelan fishermen. It will cost the country lifetimes devoted to the miserable task of once again bulking up the military and training people in the art of killing, in hopes of improving civil defense.
Fiscally this is a terrible use of money.
