New sink is needed, but not currently in the budget. The faucet is a life-changer. I love it more than words can express. In the dullest possible sense.
What’s wrong with dual sinks? I miss mine a lot, when I moved to my current apartment we got a single instead, and it’s quite limiting as far as washing dishes goes.
I dislike my dual sink because I can’t fit my big cutting boards or cast iron rectangular griddle in it. At least, not without them propped up on the center divider, making water splash everywhere.
I see! My last double sink was something like 1/4-3/4 in dimensions between the sub-sinks, giving me no issues with washing the larger items. My current one is too small for comfort, really, but I just can’t justify replacing it while it’s functioning fine.
Not a fan of the dual sink setup, but I really like that sprayer!

What’s the deal with the metal frame contraption surrounding your sink?
It’s a dish drying rack. I think I posted about it back when I got it.
That’s actually clever, it looks like it will drip dry into the plumbed sink. I’ll think about this every time I wipe the pool of water on my counter.
This is definitely one of the benefits
I bought one after seeing a post on Lemmy. Saves a ton of space in our tiny kitchen!
