No shit Trump isn’t foreign, but he also isn’t “normal” or a continuation of how the US was in the '90s through 2010s, like you and others in this thread keep trying to falsely insinuate.

Trump is one of the US oligarchs, along with Bezos, Gates, Murdoch, Koch, Andreesen, Soros, Buffet, Dimon, the Clintons, and many others. They existed in the 90s through the 2010s. The Democrats watched the Republicans stacking courts with activist judges. They all happily bombed country after country and then fomented racism against the refugees. It’s a continuum for damned sure.

Biden did not have ICE thugs kidnapping random brown people off the street

Correct. That’s an escalation. But ICE detentions under Biden grew by over 50%. Biden had immigrant children in solitary confinement which causes brain damage and is considered a crime against humanity by everyone in the world. Bush and Obama oversaw torture in Guantanamo and international kidnappings of people and even their transportation to CIA black sites around the world so they could be tortured. Every single president escalated. Every one. Not a single president made things better. Trump is the next escalation.

WHY is it that Trump’s escalations seem so much more escalatory? Because the collapse of the US is happening faster than ever. The economy is failing, the US military is failing, the US social fabric is failing, there’s no possibility of a New Deal intervention working under the current national and global economic conditions. The escalation Trump is presiding over is intended ultimately to manage the mass unrest from the fact that none of this can be fixed.

Bill Clinton did not conduct a pogrom against trams people.

That’s because he was busy conducting a pogrom against people with HIV and AIDS. The targets change over time. The depravity stays about the same.

Obama did not try to deorbit satellites and close observatories because factual reality hurt his fragile feelings about climate change

Aside from the psychologizing, I agree with you. But Obama committed the first ever open international murder by the US military of a US citizen. He and Hillary conducted a brutal and devastating campaign to destroy Libya, the most prosperous country on the continent of Africa, and left is in ruin to become an open-air slave market.

Remember, the parties pander to different parts of the population. Environmentalism? That’s D territory. Extractives industry? That’s R territory. But the reality is consistent. US crude oil production expanded 80% under Obama. His manipulation of the shale gas industry exceeded if the industry’s own highest estimates of what they could achieve.

And none of them attempted a coup or tried to destroy all the checks and balances of our government in order to set themselves up as a dictator with unlimited corruption!

That one’s true. No one before Trump in recent times attempted a coup. Bush and Cheney certainly set out to destroy all the checks and balances of our country with goals of unlimited corruption and the unitary executive. The corruption was obscene under them. But more to the point, Obama didn’t do anything to reverse the majority of what Bush did. He relied on the precedents set, just as all the presidents have. Nixon made heroin and cannabis federally illegal in order to manipulate the vote. Everyone in politics has known this for decades. No one has reversed it. Actually, Trump might reverse the cannabis one. Not that this excuses him.

But it shows you how every single president got us here, in order, through increasing escalation. We cannot fix it by just fighting the current administration. Just like you can’t put water back in the reservoir after the dam bursts. You’re sitting here screaming that we have to put the water back in the dam and we’re trying to explain to you that the problem was that the soil the dam was built on was unsuitable for a dam that size in the first place. We have to go back to the original engineering and redesign it. You can’t just put the water back.
