    this is neat but I thought semiconductors were particularly vulnerable to radiation and did not see anything about it.

    So is the plan to send the whole “factory” up and bring it back down after it makes its production run? They said the next step is to test the heat shield.

      If they scale up, it would probably be more efficient to keep the factory in orbit and send just the raw materials up and return the finished product.
