Yup. Fan fic. The author of this article has 48 followers. The disclaimed from NetEase at the bottom says that NetEase is a social media platform and people who publish articles are just random people with no affiliation. The author’s handle “Shuo Fang Lookout” is likely a reference to being a fan of the Chinese basketball star.
So exactly as I said. It’s bullshit fanfic being reported on by a Ukrainian “journalist” because he thinks it helps to make the case that China is not actually Russia’s ally.
