If it makes you feel any better, I wasn’t asking if it was AI slop. Rather there were some AI photos that went around many years ago where the thumbnail looked like something else. I can’t find any examples of it, but I was wondering if it was like those, or if the picture was actually taken that way.
Then I politely ask them to look it up themselves, as I’m busy shitposting.

Collected account wide karma doesn’t exist on lemmy, so at worst it only impacts the specific downvoted comment.
You’re right, it is getting annoying. But the problem is AI, not humans. This is our internet, AI is the unwelcome invader.
