I wish I would’ve met you
Now it’s a little late
What you could’ve taught me
I could’ve saved some face
They think that your early ending
Was all wrong
For the most part, they’re right
But look how they all got strong

That’s why I say, “Hey, man, nice shot
Good shot, man”
That’s why I say, “Hey, man, nice shot
Good shot, man”

No personally I don’t think his crime was horrendous, and I certainly wouldn’t end my life over the repercussions he faced. Point is he did a political corruption and paid the ultimate price, and I think that is good. The consequences of betraying the public trust should be life changing. Most of these cowards would rather die then have to live by the laws they create. I think that’s wonderful for all of us.

Corruption is bad, but I’d prefer nobody died over it. I understand what you mean though.

Yea I don’t think that they should die or kill themselves. I just deeply appreciate the fact that they’d rather die than spend time in a prison system they created. Or maybe that had a strong enough sense of shame to off themselves, like a samurai. I find that respectable too. I just appreciate them being held accountable. Side effects may vary.

Nothing really to tell. We were at a Penn State branch campus at the time. I knew her as Didi. She had one young lady friend that was always with her. Really good friends from back home, I believe. I kind of recall people just trying to be supportive but this was WAY messed up for back then. Peoples boundaries up there and at that time were very different. Nobody wanted to say anything. We wanted to help but we didn’t know how. I hope she is well. That was a very long time ago.

Maybe you avoided shock videos? It has been a quite common shock video on the Internet for the longest time, though I guess in more recent times it’s relatively tame compared to the rest.

It was very common to stumble over it in the mid and late 2000s at least, and into the 2010s.

Personally I only know of this whole thing because of someone sending me that video way back when, and my curiosity made me look it up.

I’m young, and I’ve never been sent any of the gore shit by anyone, couldn’t even get the Kirk video, and I really did try to get it. Never even heard Dwyer’s name, I’d think that a congressman committing suicide on public television would be more well known. Maybe it is and I’m just in a bubble.
