Not the point. It’s that 99.99% of evidence is lost by time and the 0.01% that survives are precious insights not concrete evidence and so a rebuttal is as weak as a claim. If you get your funding from describing something that has no hope of being described you circlejerk it so you can study what you want. Same with any science in this world.
