I usually just let stuff “breath” for some minutes - ice cream, cheese, parma ham etc, because they get their full flavour only after being out in some room temperature and got some air
I don’t even have a microwave, because I really don’t like how stuff tastes after it. It’s just a homogenous sludge.
The only thing I’m missing a bit is the microwave popcorn.
It’s not much effort to make it in a pot, and I even have a (hard to clean) pop corn machine, but just for that a microwave isn’t worth it.
I can’t understand how people can favour this hot nothingness, that comes out of a microwave
