The state has been misusing its monopoly on state-sanctioned violence for too long, using it instead on black people and minorities instead of using it on these people like it should’ve been.
I advocate for more state sanctioned violence, but I get to decide who we use it against. First we came for the Nazis, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Nazi… Then we came for the white supremacists, and I did not speak out because I was not a white supremacist. Then we came for the fascists, and maybe I was a fascist too, because it takes one to know one. But the world rejoiced anyway, and I’ll sacrifice myself for the greater good.

I get that if we were all gone I wouldn’t have to do that.
