Merry Christmas, everybody!
Earlier this month, I uploaded a version of the above drawing without characters and asked whether you would be interested in adding your fursonas to create a furry Christmas card. Thank you to everybody who participated – Cally, Foxfire, and Stealthy. Special thanks to green_copper for providing their private collaboration tool for this project and to Foxfire for giving it a boost on the Mastodon side of the Fediverse. It brought me so much joy to see people add their sonas, and I hope the result will bring you just as much joy!
Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, I hope you have a wonderful holiday time, or just a wonderful time in general, and get to spend time with those you care about, whoever they may be.
On a private note
Joining the furry fandom is one of the best things that ever happened to me. I found a community of encouraging, kind, and funny people animals who make me smile every single day. Similarly, I’m actually happy that “the other website” had its little API disaster because otherwise, I wouldn’t have found the Fediverse and this lovely, furry place within it. I probably spend too much time here, but that’s okay because I enjoy spending my time here, in this small corner of the internet that’s full of awesome people. Thank you for making this place so special; thank you for being you.
“Oh heck, I completely forgot about this and still want to add my fursona!”
You can! Sure, the intention was to have the final card by the 25th, but if you’re a day or two late, who cares? You can still add your sona the same way as before.
“What about licencing?”
This image is released under a CC-BY licence, which means that you can practically do whatever you want with it as long as you credit the artists (see below).
“What did you say about a collab tool?”
@[email protected] made a really cool tool to collaborate with other people on the internet. It’s even open source!

This is gonna be my desktop background for a while :3

Thank you again, everybody. I hope you have a great rest of 2025. I love you all <3
Everyone did a lovely job, I hope that everyone had a very merry Christmas!
Yes, they did, and every time someone posted their addition, I got super excited! Looking at the final results makes me so happy :3
Merry Christmas to you too! And thank you for coming up with such a cool idea. It is always fun to see what collaborative events grow into.
Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, I hope you have a wonderful holiday time, or just a wonderful time in general, and get to spend time with those you care about, whoever they may be.
Very nicely said UwU

Naaaw. This corner of the internet is really wholesome and I for myself am also happy that I found it (and the existence of Furries in general). Also, floofs like you who create engaging content make this place even better ^^
Aww, thank you, that’s very kind of you <3 I try my best to make cool stuff to share, but I haven’t done a lot lately. My last post is over a year old, and one of my resolutions for the new year is to make more art, both serious art and OC memes :3

Merry Christmas to you, too! <3
Merry Christmas, everyfur :3
I wish you a merry Christmas and comfy holidays, too :3
@LordAmplifier I’m so glad Foxfire told me about your collab, it felt good being a part of it tbh! w
Oh and merry Christmas btw, I hope it’s going well for you. :3
And I’m glad Foxfire told you about it because the more, the merrier a collab gets! Thank you again for being a part of this, and I hope you have a great Christmas time, too :3
Merry Christmas Amp! Thank you so much for making the collab event, and being a part of our corner of the open Internet!
EDIT: Made my own post to FA about the card just now. I also added author and licence information to the Krita and GIMP source files I have, and uploaded that in case someone wants to grab them in the future.
Merry Christmas, Foxfire!
Making this event was a lot of fun, even though I almost decided to postpone it to next year. On the 1st of December, I remembered that I wanted to do something like this for Christmas and thought that it was already too late to make the base drawing because people might not have enough time to add their sonas, but now I’m glad I buckled down and did it this year. There are lots of things I could’ve done better, but for my first time doing this, I’m happy with how everything turned out.
Thank you again for the post on Mastodon, and for the (very important) questions you asked under the first post because those are all things I completely forgot about. I’ll also update the previous posts (and this post, now that I think about it!) with up-to-date base files and everything over the next few days, just to archive everything properly.
This is a beautiful place and I love being here. Thank you for always being such a kind fox <3
