    IMO there’s nothing wrong with being proud of who you are.

    It’s when you try to use that pride to show that you’re better than people who are different from you, then we’ve got a problem.

      being “proud” of a race is stupid… you literally had no say whatsoever in it

      it´s like being proud of having two arms (and pretending that makes you superior to other people also with two arms)

        I didn’t have any say in having opposable thumbs but I could say that I’m proud to have them.

        I get you, though. I can’t imagine calico cats being proud of their color(s). They have more important things to do.

      Bring proud on ethnic nationalism grounds will pretty much always lead to the consequences you describe.
