Venezuela passes bill criminalizing oil tanker seizures – DW – 12/24/2025

The move comes after the US seized two tankers transporting Venezuelan oil this month. At an emergency UN meeting requested by Caracas, China and Russia accused the US of "bullying" the South American country.

What’s the end goal of putting it as law? To get funding? Or to mobilize troops like when Russia annexed Ukraine lands?
