Because they’re the 🌟special ones🌟, who are getting an express ticket to heaven no matter how they behave. Being a hypocrite is their core belief.
To be fair, there is one example of a woman changing her opinion on a matter of abortion afterwards, and I hope it’s not a sole one who did. But the opposite is more widely presented, and I guess it’s more common, too
