You know what? I don’t think this is our Cap. I think this is a variant sent by Doom to steal our Steve Rogers’s child. For what purpose? Time will tell.

I think this teaser is a misdirection and we’re seeing a variant looking through Rogers’s stuff and admiring the child he’s kidnapping for Doom. We saw Doom with a very Young Franklin and now we see Steve Rogers’s kid? If there is anything child related for the next teaser then I’m betting there is some plot regarding children of the original Avengers that maybe can bring about Doom’s downfall and he’s working ahead to remove them from play in whatever future he’s seen/predicted.

I might get shouted down here but RDJ as Doom and now Steve Rogers coming back. I just don’t know man. Is Disney even trying anymore? It is like they are just going to Stars Wars Marvel.

I thought we all agreed this was desperation and fan service to try cash grab the remaining interest in the series.

Absolutely shit tier world building and story since Endgame

This has been very likely ever since after Endgame when they announced Secret Wars. The whole idea of a Secret Wars needs these kind of characters to show up. To have them show up in Doosmday already however feels very fanservicy and cash grabby however, for sure.

For those wondering this was the leaked trailer from about a week ago. The trailer played before Avatar starting last week. This week a new trailer is playing before Avatar. (Thor will return) We have two more short trailers then everyone speculates a big one.

In terms of Steve Rogers Captain America returning, that’s exciting. The timeline of Cap at the end of Endgame is a little fuzzy. He returns all the infinity stones, ignores all of history, then just shows up as old man Cap to give Sam the shield. The story Cap doesn’t tell Sam is possibly the events of Doomsday.

Strangely, this trailer didn’t play when I saw Avatar 3 on Friday. No Odyssey trailer either, so I’m glad they posted this.

Logan was a fitting end to the super hero genre in general for me. 2000 - 2017 was 17 years of super hero’s. And with X-men and Sam Ramis Spiderman being my first super hero movies, I was ready to hang up the cape and be ready for a new movie genre to watch.

I can’t imagine how those who grew up with 80s Batman and Superman must feel like now…

Robert Downey Jr as Doom is one thing but bringing back Steve Rogers is wow. I don’t know maybe this is the way it was originally written, possibly, cuz I guess Doom’s stealing super babies is a thing maybe. But I can’t help but wonder if they didn’t shoehorn him in because, you know, the sky is falling.

Is this hype? I’m tired of the old cast. Can we please get more Shang Chi, Moonknight and then later the X Men. Also when are they include Iron fist, Nova?

I’m clueless as to why they did not make more Shan Chi or MoonKnight. They were successful and loved by fans.

Loved by fans doesn’t mean financially successful. We don’t really have viewership numbers for any of the D+ and with advertising budget fuckery who knows how actually financially successful the rest were

And I say this as a big fan of Shang-Chi

Shang Chi was financially successful tho. Also by your logic why would they make black widow, f4 and Thunderbolts and more useless d+ series. F4 needed for plot ig.

Fans can never connect with the new cast if they keep making one project and leaving them untouched forever. The og heros got movies even when they flopped hard cause Avengers collections used to cover them.
