Users need to revolt against what will very likely be an even more widespread effort to censor voices critical of Israel.

    This shit isn’t new, look

    Vivek Ramaswamy investment

In May 2024, activist investor Vivek Ramaswamy acquired a 7.7% stake in BuzzFeed, making him the fourth-largest shareholder,[71] which he later increased to 8.37%.[72] Ramaswamy said that he thought the company was undervalued,[73] and that he wanted to shift the company’s political leanings[72] such as by hiring right-wing media personalities.[74]

scrapping the bit where some author says he has no power, its besides the point

i know we’re often told to ‘go where the people are’ and there are people on tiktok, but I feel like when the bolshevicks were writing about needing a newspaper, they didn’t mean publish an advertisement and accompanying article in the Economist

I’m probably preaching to the chior here but I’ve never used tiktok and I never will, I’ve deleted my twitter, facebook, discord, myspace, reddit, telegram, whathave you. I have an instagram I don’t check because so much of what happens locally is shared there (and nowhere else and I was getting real isolated and out of touch without being able to peep behind the walled garden. Instagram is the worst platform for anything aside from advertising.).

social media offers a distortion of reality, you have to actually talk to people, call them on the phone if you have to, call your parents, talk to them, don’t post a clapback dunking on them via tiktok.

    i’m so tired.
