A pirate activist group has reportedly scraped and released metadata from Spotify, and intends to release 86 million audio files.

    Why wouldn’t they contribute the metadata to musicbrainz? Could do with all the metadata. Anybody downloading it would probably tag it using music brainz

      They released a metadata torrent first that is 200GB . They said they will release the actual data 300TB soon

        So it would be up to the community to insert that metadata torrent into MusicBrainz I guess. 200TB of metadata is insane though. Holy shit.
