I already personally blocked one of Sunshines accounts in the past since the user, in my opinion, spams news everywhere and kind of makes this community less useful. I am absolutely with you here. For me this community is more about consumer goods and not military spend or other billion euro purchases of countries.

It is good that defense spending is increasing, but is an aircraft carrier the right thing to spend money on? Without knowing much of the naval industry, military or military strategies it feels like an aircraft carrier takes a long time to build, cost lots of money and would not increase the defense capabilities much.
Aircraft carriers are a meme in the current age. A missile or drone barrage will sink it easily.
